Since this year, companies listed in Switzerland have been required not only to prepare a sustainability report - a large part of which is obviously linked to their climate strategy - but also to submit it to their shareholders approval. The last few years have also seen a historic turning point in Switzerland, with the tabling of a first shareholder climate resolution at the Credit Suisse 2022 General Meeting. This was an opportunity for all shareholders to take their voting rights seriously and make their voices heard in the face of the climate emergency.
